Working with a relatively large exposed front-yard and a modest budget, hands on homeowners helped to turn this bare lawn into a welcoming lounge surrounded by a drought tolerant landscape with many interesting textured plants, new trees for future shade and as well as dry creek for a sustainable watershed approach.
