Unique grounds located on Cerro St in a standard suburban Encinitas neighborhood is an ever evolving land experiment and labor of love; landscape designers Laura’s own stomping grounds where most the weekends are spent tending plans, observing their growth and adding to ever more expanding collection of drought tolerant evergreens, natives and edible plants. Inspired by botanical gardens from around the world, the space embodies a passion for land stewardship, plant collecting and stone work. Experimenting with different materials, plant combinations and maintenance routines makes this garden an ever changing point of interest and topic of conversation with neighbors passing by. Plant lovers gather, exchange plants and share their gardening experiences quite often over a glass of wine!
